MacDraw - creating a newsletter in MacDraw - to get word wrap, draw a text rectangle for each block or column of text.  Do  not  click the text tool before you start typing in the block.  If you create several blocks before you start typing, type a single letter in each block.  This is the way to let MacDraw know that you wish to word wrap.
